Rooftop Kamataen
Kamataen, a small amusement park spread across the roof of Tokyu Plaza Kamata, a commercial building in front of Kamata Station. It has the "Ferris Wheel of Happiness," the only rooftop Ferris wheel in Tokyo, along with train-shaped rides and inflatable play equipment, carrying on the spirit of a rooftop amusement park that has operated since 1968. The contrast between the station crowds below and the Ferris wheel gondolas overhead is distinctive, giving a sense of being out of the ordinary, as if left behind in a gap between buildings.
