Tokyo Station, Keiyo and Musashino Line Passage
The passage to the Keiyo and Musashino Line platforms, an unusually long underground corridor even by the standards of Tokyo Station. It came about because the Keiyo Line, when it opened in 1990, took over a deep underground site far from the other platforms that had originally been planned for a Narita Shinkansen station. The long corridor, lined with moving walkways, goes on and on, with an atmosphere like another world. Users have described it as "like a hidden route in Dragon Quest" and "hard to believe it's Tokyo Station": a hidden, otherworldly space tucked inside a huge terminal.
