Nebukawa Station
Nebukawa Station, with its wooden station building more than 100 years old, stands on high ground overlooking Sagami Bay. An unstaffed station chosen as one of the "100 Best Stations of Kanto," it offers a sweeping view of the Pacific horizon from the platform. It also carries a tragic history: in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, a train at the station was swept into the sea together with the platform by a landslide. Today it feels like a station where time has stopped, with only a quiet, empty waiting room and the sea breeze passing through.
