Shinko Boat Showa-Era Game Corner (Lake Sagami Park)
A game corner with a lingering Showa-era feel, attached to a boat rental at Lake Sagami. It is run by a long-established boat business that has operated since around the time Sagami Dam was built, and vintage machines, such as a 1970s whack-a-mole game that costs from 10 yen, still work. In this space where only electronic sounds echo through the stillness of the lakeside, there is a nostalgia that feels slightly cut off from everyday life.
