Okunoshima Power Plant Ruins
The remains of a power generation facility built on Okunoshima by the former Imperial Japanese Army. It was left unused after the war, and only its concrete building remains. Although it now sits within a tourist area on the island known as Rabbit Island, the ivy-covered, decaying ruin has a strange presence, making it an unusual place where the peaceful island scenery and the memory of war exist side by side.
