Matsushiro 4-chome Housing, Tsukuba (Disused Housing Complex)
Part of a housing complex built as national civil servant housing for Tsukuba Science City. It fell out of use as the government cut back on staff housing, and although it is surrounded by parks, condominiums, and family neighborhoods, this one section alone remains empty. An everyday residential area sits right next to a housing complex where time has stopped. It is on national land and entry is not permitted, so please view it only from outside. The former housing sites are being sold off, so it may disappear in the future.
