Liminal space · Ibaraki, Japan

Ishiyama Jidosha Shokai (Former Auto Repair Shop)

The remains of a small auto repair shop along Prefectural Route 5 in Inashiki, Ibaraki. It appears to have opened around 1970 and seems to have closed early on. The steel-framed workshop and the two-story building are covered in ivy, and only the shop name, written right to left on the outer wall, tells of the workplace that once was. It is private property, so please view it only from outside.
