Sobu Hana Yuen

The remains of a small flower-themed amusement park in front of JR Kurahashi Station in Asahi, Chiba. Its official name was Agri Museum Sobu Hana Yuen. It opened only from spring to autumn, and a waterway wound through its long, narrow grounds so that visitors could tour the flowers by boat. It appears to have closed in the mid-2000s, and as of 2022 the entrance gate and greenhouses were still standing, half buried in plants and trees. The gate is shut and entry is prohibited, and there are homes right next door. Please just look quietly from the road in front of the station.
