Ceramic Park MINO
A ceramics complex that opened in 2002 in a valley among the hills of Tajimi. Designed by Arata Isozaki & Associates with Kumagai Architectural Design Office, its massive buildings clad in stone and tile, along with plazas and long walkways, spread out along the valley. On days without events there is hardly anyone around, and it has the stillness of a ruin where only the buildings have been left behind.
