Maruni Hotel Ise no Sato

The remains of a large nine-story lodging facility standing among the farmland of Meiwa, Mie. It is said to have opened in 1985 as a fee-paying retirement home and to have been converted into a hotel when not enough residents moved in. The hotel in turn appears to have closed in the 2000s, and the building, with its many rows of windows, still stands as it was in the middle of the rice fields. It is a privately owned building, so please stay off the grounds and view it only from the surrounding public roads.
