Bijinza (Oigami Onsen)
The remains of a strip theater in the hot spring town of Oigami Onsen in Numata. It appears to have closed by around 2000. It is an unusual building: tallest at the front facing the road, with the roof growing lower and the building narrower toward the back. At the reception, lettering showing a "2500" admission price and a 7 p.m. curtain time still remains, recalling the days when the town thrived as a hot spring resort for nightlife. It is a private building surrounded by inns and homes that are still in use, so please just look quietly from the street.
