Genex Tower (Western City Gate)
A high-rise in New Belgrade (Novi Beograd) whose official name is the Western City Gate of Belgrade. Designed by Mihajlo Mitrović, it was completed at the end of the 1970s. A two-level bridge joins its two towers, one residential and one for offices, and on top sits a restaurant that was meant to revolve. It was planned as a gate marking the entrance to the city along the road from the airport into Belgrade. It was designated a cultural monument in 2021. People still live in the residential tower, so please be considerate of the residents.
