Panorâmico de Monsanto
A round, upscale panoramic restaurant that opened in 1968 on a hilltop in Monsanto Forest Park. Designed by the architect Chaves da Costa, it offered views of Lisbon and the river through its glass walls. It was later used as a disco, a bingo hall, and a warehouse before closing in 2001. It reopened as a viewpoint in 2017 but was closed again in 2023 for safety reasons. The interior walls are covered in graffiti. Security guards now patrol the site and you cannot go inside, so please view it only from outside.
