Hồ Thủy Tiên (Former Water Park)
A water park beside a lake on the outskirts of Hue, Vietnam, which opened in 2004 while still unfinished. It failed to draw visitors, closed and reopened several times, and was then left abandoned for years; its huge dragon-shaped building in the middle of the lake and its grass-covered slides became known worldwide as an "abandoned amusement park." The city of Hue began renovations in 2024, and since 2025 it has been open as a free park with a walking path around the lake. The dragon building still stands, and you can climb stairs up into its mouth.
